Most women don’t need a better morning routine. We need to hear that mornings are meant to be enjoyable and easy.
Somewhere along the way, mornings became another thing to “get right.”
The perfect routine. The skincare. The workout. No scrolling. Less coffee. Nothing sweet.
It’s a lot. And honestly, it’s exhausting.
At this stage of life, mornings aren’t meant to be a discipline, they’re meant to be experienced. The morning doesn’t have to be about productivity. It’s the quiet. It’s the time of day I love before the noise arrives. It’s that small window where the worries of the day haven’t fully come to mind yet.
January always brings a strange mix of emotions. A little peace. A little letdown. The urge to organize, declutter, reset.
And yet, if we’re honest, there’s something about the busyness we miss too. Both things can be true.
Here’s what rarely gets said out loud: There is no “right” way to do mornings anymore.
Maybe you wake up early but don’t rush. Maybe you move slowly until the house feels awake too. Maybe you sit with your coffee longer than you think you should and secretly love it.
Scrolling isn’t failure. Sometimes it’s awareness. Sometimes it’s connection. Sometimes it’s simply how we ease into the day. Coffee isn’t indulgent; it’s comforting. Lingering isn’t laziness,it’s presence.
At this point in life, we’ve rushed enough. We’ve shown up enough. We’ve been “on” enough. We know how fast everything goes, and that’s exactly why we savor the moments now.
The hot coffee. The quiet. The prayers. The reading. The people.
Some mornings you’ll ease into the day. Some mornings you’ll head straight toward something fun. Both are good mornings.
A miracle morning isn’t a routine, it’s the moment you stop fighting the life you’re in.
And maybe that’s what so many of us are craving. Not another habit to build or rule to follow, but a place to belong.
Several women have shared with me that they would love a time to meet others for coffee, for connection. Not networking. Not selling. Not performing. Just real conversation and friendship.
If that resonates with you, I’d love to create a time and date a couple of times per month where we enjoy a morning together as a group of women who love our mornings. A space where we linger, connect, and genuinely enjoy meeting each other.
Let me know if you’d be interested, and I’ll arrange a couple of dates for us to share a coffee or tea together.
